The annual event featured the participation of nearly 111 athletes from 12 teams across the country, including team from Dong Nai province, in competition for medals in four disciplines for both men and women.
At the end of the championships, Bac Lieu went first in category for mix triples (2 women and 1 man), Hosts Soc Trang won category for women’s doubles, Ba Ria-Vung Tau came in first in category for men’s doubles and Ha Noi score first prize in category for mix triples (2 men and 1 woman).
The tournament aimed to promote the development of the sport among localities nationwide, while offering a good opportunity for outstanding athletes to vie for slots in the national petanque team.
