After nearly five year of launching, the organizing board received 739 entries from amateur and professional authors from 13 provinces and cities nationwide. Accordingly, “Vac xin Viet bao ve tre tho viet” (Vietnamese vaccine helps protect Vietnamese children) by photographer Pham Quoc Hung, a member of Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association, won the first prize.
Two second prizes went to “Dieu hanh ra mat cau lac bo xe đap Vo Dac” (Marching to make debut Vo Dac Cycling Club) by Ngo Thi Thu Ba from HCM city and “Xa lo tuong lai” (Future highway) by Thai Ton Hao, also from HCM city. Meanwhile, the organizing board also awarded 3 third and 5 consolation prizes to other outstanding photographers.
On this occasion, the organizing board, including Dong Nai Literature and Arts and the provincial Journalists’ Associations, Tran Bien Temple of Literature Center and Vo Dac Cycling Club selected 105 beautiful photos for a photo exhibition which will be opened for visitors. In addition, an fine arts photo book entitled ““Dong Nai on the way of development” will be published.
