(ĐN)- The 2016 National Dance Sport Championships and Open Dance Sport Cup kicked off on October 15 in Dong Nai provincial Sports Center.

The event jointly held by Dong Nai provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Sports Federation attracted 520 dancers from 42 teams nationwide, including 62 dancers from Dong Nai province.
They were divided into 11 different age groups, competing in 12 specific dance styles including Latin and Standard dances.
At last year’s tournament held in Ha Noi, Dong Nai province scored 16 gold, 10 silver and 5 bronze medals in both national championship and open cup events.
