(ĐN)- The 2016 National Dance Sport Championships and Open Dance Sport Cup concluded on October 16 at Dong Nai provincial Sports Center.

The event jointly held by Dong Nai provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam Sports Federation attracted 520 dancers from 42 teams nationwide, including 62 dancers from Dong Nai province.
They were divided into 11 different age groups, competing in 12 specific dance styles including Latin and standard dances.
At the end of the competition, dancers from Dong Nai province scored 40 gold, 32 silver and 29 bronze medals to triumph in the open cup event. Meanwhile, in the national championship event, they won 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals to finish third.
