(ĐN)- The organizers of the fourth journalism photography contest, titled “Khoanh khac vang” (Golden Moment) on September 15 held a ceremony to award prizes to outstanding photographers.
Among more than 4,300 entries taken by 434 journalists and photographers nationwide, the jury of the competition has chosen outstanding photos to award one first, one second, three third and five consolation prizes.
Of the awardees, Lo Van Hop from Long Khanh Photography Association in Dong Nai province won third prize for his work “Duong tau mua xuan” (Railway line in Spring), depicting the event of Ghenh Bridge collapse at noon on March 20 after it was hit by a barge transporting 800 tons of sand, causing North-South train services disrupted and acknowledging the atmosphere of railway workers with high determination and utmost efforts had joined hands to reduce the construction time to finish the bridge earlier than expected.
The photo contest, is jointly held by the Vietnam News Agency (VNA and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists offers a space for journalists and photographers to reflect all aspects of society, ranging from politics, economics, culture and sports, to science and technology, and show their points of view on hot current issues of the nation.
