(ĐN)- Martial artists of Dong Nai province scored one gold, one silver and three bronze medals to finish 8th at the National Kickboxing Championships 2016, which closed on July 29 in Quang Ngai province.
Accordingly, Vuong Quoc Thanh of Dong Nai won a gold medal after beating his rival in the final match of men’s 51kg category. The silver medal went to Nguyen Thi Khuyen and while Ngyen Thi Tram Anh, Hoang Nhi and Hoang Kha won bronze medals for Dong Nai team.
Hosts Quang topped the event, followed by teams from Binh Duong and Dak Lak.
The ten-day tournament brought together over 300 kick-boxers, representing 35 teams nationwide, competing in 6 categories of weight classes ranging from 42kg-91kg for both men and women.
