(ĐN)- The National Mini Football Tournament- Saigon Beer Cup 2016 in Dong Nai province wrapped up last night at the provincial Sports Center after 4 days of competition.
The event drew the participation of 32 teams across the province, competing in four groups under a round-robin format, to seek the best two teams for the final round scheduled to be held in Khanh Hoa province’s Nha Trang city.

In the final match with the attendance of hundreds of football lovers, Dinh Qua defeated Phu Hoa 7-6 to win the champion title with bonus of VND40 million. Meanwhile, Danh Loi 1 came third after defeating Sacombank 1-0 in the third-place match. Dinh Gia and Phu Hoa will represent Dong Nai province to compete at the finals.
The National Mini Football Tournament 2016 attracted nearly 400 amateur football teams, divided into 16 qualifiers’ groups to compete in 16 venues from north to south across the nation, including Quang Ninh, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Gia Lai, Binh Dinh, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ca Mau, Vinh Long, Long An and Khanh Hoa. Of them, 24 best teams will be selected to compete at the final round in Nha Trang city. The total prize of the championships is nearly VND2 billion.
