(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s players won one gold and one silver medals at the 2016 National Youth Sepak Takraw Championship which wrapped up in Can Tho city on July 22 after 7 days of competition.
The annual tournament saw the participation of 200 athletes from 14 teams nationwide, competing for medals in two age groups of under 16 and between 17 and 20 in the men’s and women’s doubles, mixed doubles and team categories.
The tournament is an ideal platform for localities to share experience in sepak takraw training and learn from each other, while providing an opportunity to select new promising talent for the national youth team.
