(ĐN)- The Fruit Shaping Contest, which was part of Southern fruit festival 2016, has concluded at Suoi Tien Cultural Tourist Area, attracting many artisans from HCM city, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Tien Giang, etc.
According to the organizers of the festival, more than 200 tons of fruit was consumed in the first 8 days. The annual Southern fruit festival 2016 held at Suoi Tien Cultural Tourist Area will last until this September. During the festival, a contest entitled “Safety delicious Southern fruits” also takes place with the participation of 440 gardeners with 600 delicious kinds of fruit, 17 kinds of unique fruits from 13 provinces and cities.
This is an annual activity to contribute to promoting fruit specialties of Viet Nam and also the South to domestic and international visitors. This is also an opportunity for artisans to create unique fruit shaping products, contribute to preserving and developing fruit plastic art in Viet Nam.
