(ĐN)- The 17th National Youth Traditional Martial Arts Tournament kicked off last night Dong Nai province’s Sports Center.

Jointly organized by the Vietnam Traditional Martial Arts Federation and the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the tournament brought together 291 martial artists from 29 teams, including 22 from Dong Nai province, competing in demonstration and combat events in different weight categories for both men and women.
The championship is considered a good way to promote the traditional martial arts among young people and to select outstanding athletes to prepare for important national and international competitions.
It will conclude on June 18.
