(ĐN)-Dong Nai’s martial artists scored 3 gold, 4 silver and 9 bronze medals at the 17th National Youth Traditional Martial Arts Tournament which concluded on Saturday at Dong Nai province’s Sports Center.

At the end of the tournament, HCM city ranked first, followed by Binh Dinh province while Public Security went third.
Jointly organized by the Vietnam Traditional Martial Arts Federation and the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the tournament brought together 291 martial artists from 29 teams, including 22 from Dong Nai province, competing in demonstration and combat events in different weight categories for both men and women.
The 3-day championship is considered a good way to promote the traditional martial arts among young people and to select outstanding athletes to prepare for important national and international competitions.
