With this result, the female team is expected to win first-ever ticket to semi-final round as they were in the 3-team group, including Dong Nai, Thai Binh and Hai Phong. Meanwhile, Ha Noi, HCM city, Bac Giang and Da Nang were in the other female group.
The tournament brought together nearly 100 players from 10 provinces and cities across the country. The shuttlers are competing for medals in both the men’s and women’s team events.
The tournament, held jointly by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, and Bac Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will run until May 28.
