(ĐN)- A ceremony marking the Hung Kings’ death anniversary was organized at Hung Kings' Temple in Binh Da ward, Bien Hoa city on April 16 with the attendance of Head of Department of Propaganda and Training Dang Manh Trung, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Hoa Hiep, together with representatives from departments, agencies and local people.

At the ceremony, the participants reviewed traditions, offered incense and laid wreathes to commemorate the legend of the nations forefathers, the Hung Kings.

Earlier, a contest for making Banh Chung (square glutinous rice cakes) and Banh Giay (round glutinous rice cakes) drew teams across the city.
Regiment 935 won the contest and got the chance to offer their traditional cakes to the Hung Kings at the altar.

The 2-day event also featured a wide range of activities, including, dragon-and-phoenix-shaped fruit decoration, folk games and cultural performances.
