(ĐN)- The 9th National Phu Dong Sports Festival in the Region 4 hosted by Binh Duong province has recently concluded at the Lucky Square Convention-Event Center in Binh Duong New City after 8 days of competition.

With 420 coaches, athletes competing in 12 games of the festival, Dong Nai province won a total 89 medals, including 5 gold, 24 silver and 60 bronze medals to rank third at the end of the competition, earning 1,369 points. HCM city topped the sports festival while hosts Binh Duong ranked second.
Lasting from April 12 to 24, the sports festival brought together more than 2,500 coaches, athletes from 13 provinces in regions of Central Highlands, South Central, and Southeast. They vied for 157 sets of medals in 12 events including track-and-field, swimming, table-tennis, badminton, football, volleyball, aerobic, tug-of-war, Judo, stick pushing, etc.
