(ĐN)-Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front on April 8 held a celebration for Cambodian and Laos students on the occasion of their traditional Chol Chnam Thmay-New Year festival.

The event was attended by Consulate Generals of Cambodia and Laos in HCM city and 190 Cambodian and Laos students studying at nine colleges and universities across the province.
Addressing the event, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep of the provincial People’s Committee extended her New Year greetings to the students and told them that they can make important contributions to the development of Vietnam, Lao and Cambodia relationship.

On this occasion, the provincial leader presented souvenir gifts to the Consulate Generals and students.
So far, Dong Nai donated 204 scholarships to Laos students and 31 others to Cambodian students.
