On the final day of the competition, Nguyen Ngoc Huynh from Dong Nai province won another silver medal in the 200m event for male swimmers, helping the team earn 2 gold and 3 silver medals and rank 5th after HCM city, Da Nang city, Quang Binh and Long An provinces in the contest.
In addition, Huynh also broke the national in the 400m for male swimmers of Tran Duy Khoi of HCM city team set up in last year’s competition when finishing first in this event.
The five-day tournament brought together 209 swimmers from 18 teams nationwide, competing for 64 sets of medals.
