(ĐN)- Numerous cultural and sport events are scheduled to be held to serve the local people for free on the occasion the 2016 Lunar New Year (Tet), according to Dong Nai provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Accordingly, Dong Nai youth traditional martial arts competition is taking place between at the provincial Sports Center, the provincial unicorn-lion-dragon dance festival is scheduled to be organized from January 29-31 along with folk games will be held for children between February 1 and 14.
Meanwhile, Spring flower market will be held between February 1 and 7 at the provincial Conference Center while a special art performance in celebration of Tet will be organized at 8pm from February 7 to 12.
There will be also photo exhibitions to celebrate the Communist Party of Vietnam's 86th founding anniversary as well as the 2016 Lunar New Year as well as newspaper exhibition at the provincial Museum and Library. Especially, Dong Nai open traditional boat race on Dong Nai river will take place on February 11.
