During the three-day event, many activities will be held, such as marching on some streets, unicorn-lion-dragon dance, traditional music performance, calligraphy performance, etc with an estimated cost of nearly VND1 billion, and is expected to attract around 100,000 visitors.
Also at the festival, the organizers will launch a fundraising drive to help local poor people. The donated money will be handed over to funds for the poor of Bien Hoa city and Hiep Hoa commune to support the poor.
The festival aims to contemplate and worship, recall ancestors, and pray for safety and prosperity for the country and people.
Ong Pagoda is located at Hiep Hoa commune, Bien Hoa city. It was built in 1684 by the Chinese Community in Cu Lao Pho (Pho isle). At first, it was named Quan De Pagoda, and later renamed That Phu Co Temple (or Ong Pagoda).
