Vietnam wins silver at World Junior, Cadet and U21 Championships

Vietnamese martial arts fighters won one silver and one bronze medal at the 2015 World Junior, Cadet and U21 Karate Championships which took place in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 12-15.

Vietnamese martial arts fighters won one silver and one bronze medal at the 2015 World Junior, Cadet and U21 Karate Championships which took place in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 12-15.

Accordingly, Vietnamese female martial artist Trang Cam Lanh bagged a silver medal in the U21 Kumite under 55kg category for women after losing a rival from Iran 0-2 in the final.

Besides, Vietnam also won a bronze medal in the female kata (performance) event.

The tournament attracted 1,441 martial artists from 91 countries and territories. Vietnam ranked 16th in the rankings.
