(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Southern “Don ca tai tu” festival was held in Bien Hoa city’s Tam Hiep ward between November 12 and 13.

The two-day festival brought together 200 artists. artisans from 10 “Don ca tai tu” troupes from cultural houses of Trang Bom, Long Khanh, Nhon Trach, Cam My, Xuan Loc, Thong Nhat and Bien Hoa. At the end of the festival, the organizers awarded 32 prizes for outstanding items, 10 prizes for troupes and two other prizes.
The annual event aims to create the space for Don Ca Tai Tu artists and lovers to gather and share their passion for the unique art form, keep the traditional southern amateur music alive, as well as select best artists fro the province’s troupe to compete at the 2nd National Don Ca Tai Tu festival, scheduled to be held in Binh Duong province in 2017.
