At the end of the contest, martial artists from Dong Nai province won 1 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze medals to rank 8th. HCM city claimed the top position and Can Tho finished the second place, followed by hosts Thanh Hoa.
The event drew some 400 athletes from 28 provinces, cities and sectors to compete for 44 sets of medals, including 22 sets for combat events.
The annual tournament provided a chance to select the promising athletes for national team to compete in the Asian Beach Games scheduled to be held in Vietnam in 2016.
