(ĐN)- A ceremony was held yesterday morning to inaugurate the Garden of Cultural Celebrities’ Statues at Tran Bien Temple of Literature in Bien Hoa city.
Starting construction in April 2014, the garden covers an area of 5 hectares at Tran Bien Temple of Literature and is home to statues of 13 cultural celebrities of Vietnamese people. The highlight of this garden is the 7.5-meter-high statue of King Ly Thai To and statues of other celebrities surrounding.
The investment of the garden was funded by local enterprises, individuals and students in the province from socialization sources as well as saving campaign by the provincial Youth Union and Department of Education and Training.
The garden will be opened free for visitors to serve as a tourist attraction as well as a place for cultural activities.
