(ĐN)- The National Professional Song and Dance Competition 2015 in the Southern region closed in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province last week.
The event which was jointly held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s People’s Committee, attracted over 1,000 actors and artists from 21 art troupes in Southern provinces and cities.
After tens days of competition, with more than 200 items of songs and dances, instrumental music, etc, the organizing board awarded 33 gold medals, 51 silver medals and other prizes to outstanding actors and artists, items and art troupes. Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s People’s Committee also presented certificates of merit to the participating delegations.
Accordingly, Dong Nai Song and Dance Troupe received 2 gold medals for 2 dance items and 2 silver medals for 1 dance and another song and dance items.
