The qualifying round attracts 25 under-21 football teams participating in 5 groups.
Dong Nai will play in group D held in Khanh Hoa province with 4 other teams including Becamex Binh Duong, PVF, Kien Giang and hosts Sanatech Khanh Hoa.
The top team from each group and the one second-place teams with the most points will advance to the final contest where they will battle host Ho Chi Minh city.
