The festival drew the participation of ten art troupes from Army Corps 4, Military Zone 7, Vietnam Rubber Corporation, and the youth committees of Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, and Binh Thuan provinces.
High quality art works impressed the audience with their demonstration of a magnanimous time of the Vietnamese people and southwest youths in the national construction and defence cause.
The organizing panel presented six A and four B prizes to participating art troupes. Additionally, the Army Corps 4 Military Command also presented certificates of merit to individuals and groups with the best performances at the festival.
