Accordingly, Nguyen Thi Thuy Vi scored the silver medal for Dong Nai team in the long jump category for women. Athletes from Ha Noi came in first with 9 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals.
The championships brought together 368 young athletes from 48 teams across the country, competing for 48 sets of medals, 24 for men and 24 for women.
The tournament aims to help the Department of Athletics under the General Department of Sports and Physical Training and the Vietnam Athletics Federation (VAF) evaluate the outcomes of young athlete training.
The event also helps select outstanding athletes for the national team in preparation in preparation for the 2016 Asian Youth Athletics Championships to be held in Vietnam in June, 2016.
