(ĐN)- The 2015 National Family Sports Competition concluded on Tuesday 25 in Lao Cai province.
After four days of competition, the organizing board awarded 27 sets of medals to outstanding athletes. Accordingly, families from Dong Nai scored 2 gold and 2 silver medals.

The festival attracted the participation of 300 athletes representing for typical families from 18 provinces and cities, competing in two events comprising table tennis and badminton.
Each event consisted of 4 groups: under 35’s, 36-46 years old group, 46-55 years old group and the over 56 years old group. They competed in 5 categories: parents, father-sun, father-daughter, mother-son and mother-daughter.
The festival, launched by the Ministry of Sports, Culture and Tourism aims to encourage families to practice sports regularly, to improve knowledge on health and to build culturally aware families.
