The Vietnam Military History Museum makes itself an attractive destination for tourists by well showcasing thousands of valuable items depicting the heroic history of Vietnam during the national safeguarding and construction cause.

 

The Vietnam Military History Museum makes itself an attractive destination for tourists by well showcasing thousands of valuable items depicting the heroic history of Vietnam during the national safeguarding and construction cause.

Coming to the museum these days, visitors will have chance studying themes on the Vietnamese people's national safeguarding and construction, and periods of the national resistance wars throughout the history of the country. Especially, the section featuring the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign promises to be the highlight, which should capture the attention from people of all walks of life, both at home and overseas.

Bazooka B41 that Corporal Dinh Van Vi, Company 6, Battalion 5, Regiment 165, Division 312, Army Corps 1, used to destroy six enemy targets in Phu Loi, April 30th 1975
Telegram 1574 General Vo Nguyen Giap sent to the Command of the Combat Group 559, urging faster operations to liberate the south, April 7th 1975.
Radio Machine PRC25, booty Army Corps captured from the enemy in Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province. The machine was later used by Battalion 18, Division 341, in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign from April 26th to 30th 1975.
Canteen used by Comrade Nguyen An, Commander of Infantry Division 304, in the Nuoc Trong battle from April 26th to 28th 1975
Jeep 15770 of Paratroops Brigade (Army of the Republic of Vietnam) seized by Regiment 66, Division 304, in Da Nang Airport on March 29th 1975. The jeep was then used by Comrade Pham Xuan The, Second-in-Command Officer of Regiment 66, and troops of the Liberation Army on April 30th 1975, escorting President Duong Van Minh to the Radio Station to declare surrender.
