(ĐN)- Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper Marathon Competition- Sai Gon Beer Cup took place in Vung Tau city, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province on Apri 19.

At the end of the competition, runner Le van Tuan of Dong Nai excellently overcame his rivals to finish first in 10km run for men’s professional individual category, followed by his teammate Le Huu Loc and Do Van Tinh from Binh Thuan province. With the result, Dong Nai ranked first in 10km run for men’s team category.
The annual event is co-organized by Ba Ria-Vung Tau Newspaper and the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Around 1,000 athletes from seven provinces and cities in Southern region took part in the categories including 2km, 3km, 5km, 10km for professional, amateur individuals and and team.
