(ĐN)- Many restaurants, hotels and food stores from 7 provinces and city in the South are showcasing their special dishes at the 4th Dong Nai Food Festival which opened in Dong Nai Conference Center on December 4.
The festival, the fourth of its kind, is held by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The event also include outdoor activities with traditional games, cultural activities and arts performance.
At the festival, a Vietnamese record was set up for the biggest steamed rice cake.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thanh Tri of the provincial People’s Committee said that the event is expected to preserve and promote the culinary culture of Dong Nai and neighbouring provinces.
It will run until December 7.
