In the bodybuilding and fitness event, Dong Nai won additional one silver and one bronze medals. Earlier, the province’s bodybuilders scored two silve medals in the men’s 70kg, and above 52kg for women categories.
In the Vovinam contest, martial artist Le Uyen Phuong excellently defeated her rival in the final match to win one more gold medal for Dong Nai. Earlier, her teammate also won on bronze medal.
The same day, pencak silat event official took place at Hai Hau Sporting Event Hall in Nam Dinh province. The competition, taking place from December 3-9, attracted more than 400 athletes and trainers from 29 provinces and cities nationwide to compete for 26 sets of medals.
As of December 3, Dong Nai has won four gold, five silver and three bronze medals to rank 15th at the National Sports Games.
