(ĐN)- A happy Christmas atmosphere has filled various corners of Bien Hoa city in recent days.
Shops, restaurants, commercial and entertainment centres located main roads leading to the heart of the city have been shining gorgeously with light bulb-shaped Santa Clause, reindeers, snow flakes and Christmas trees.
Thousands of people, being Catholics, Protestants or not, flocked to popular destinations in the city, including Tan Mai, Tam Hiep, Tan Hiep, Tan Bien and Ho Nai churches, where splendid and colorful decorative lights are sparkling.
Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh, a parishioner in Quyet Thang ward, said she enjoys a warm and happy Christmas with a strong belief in a better life in the year to come.
Earlier, many charity programmes totaling over VND20 billion were carried out by more than 280,000 Catholics in the city with a hope to make Christmas a more meaningful event for all.
