(ĐN)- The closing ceremony of the 7th Dong Nai provincial Sports Festival is held this morning at the province’s Conference Center.
At the ceremony, the organizing board awards flags for the best units, and presented certificates of merit from the provincial People’s Committee and Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to outstanding collectives and individuals.
In the medal tally, Bien Hoa ranked first with 63 gold, 45 silver and 62 broze medals, followed by Trang Bom with 44 gold, 41 silver and 51 bronze medals while Vinh Cuu is placed third with 43 gold, 41 silver and 33 bronze medals.
The festival attracted around 6,000 athletes, competing in 22 games. It offers a chance to select the best athletes for the upcoming 7th National Sports Festival which will be held in Nam Dinh province.
