At the end of the competition, athletes from Vinh Cuu topped the event with 6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals, followed by Trang Bom with 4 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals while Cam My went third.
Earlier, on September 25, swimming event also closed at the Song Pho Swimming and Diving Club, attracting 60 swimmers from 10 localities and the province’s Police who competed for 32 sets of medals.
Trang Bom scored 6 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals to triumph at the contest. Meanwhile, Thong Nhat ranked second with 6 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals followed by Long Thanh.
The same day, karatedo event took place at Dong Nai Sports Center, drawing the participation of 131 martial artists from 8 localities and the province’s Police, vying for 25 sets of medals.
The festival is scheduled to conclude on September 28.
