(ĐN)- The qualifying round of Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Sports Festival in the 6th region was held on September 17 at Dong Nai provincial Conference Center.

The event was jointly held by the Ministry of Public Security and the province’s Fire Fighting and Prevention Police, attracting the participation of nine teams from professional fire fighting and prevention forces in Can Tho city, Dong Nai and Binh Duong province.
The teams competed in fire fighting-related competitions which lasted in four hours.

At the end of the competition, Dong Nai finished on top, followed by Binh Duong while Can Tho went third.
Also at the festival, there was a performance made by 30 rescue and fire fighting teams from across the province.
The event offers a great opportunity for officers and fighters of the fire fighting and prevention police forces to improve their professional skills as well as promote the movement of training, combat readiness and coping with the fire and explosion circumstances.
