(ĐN)- The fourth international Vietnamese martial arts (Vovinam) tournament officially closed in HCM city on July 28 after eight days of competition.
Thirty-two foreign and 18 domestic delegations took part in the event.
This is a big event marking a new development of Vietnamese traditional martial arts, which are becoming popular in Europe, Africa, Australia and America.
It will also offer a venue to domestic and international martial arts groups to meet and exchange their experience.
Dong Nai’s artists won four silver and five bronze medals at the end of the competition.
HCM city claimed the top position at this year’s tournament and Binh Dinh finished the second place, followed by People’s Police.
