In the final match, Phu Nhuan team from HCM city won Thai Binh team 4-0 to triumph at the event.
In addition, Van Tam Dong Nai’s footballer Nguyen Thai Quoc Cuong also won the best player prize while the Fair play prize went to Kon Tum team.
The nine-day tournament brought together 36 teams from localities nationwide to compete in nine groups to get tickets for the 16-team final round.
At the final round, they were divided into four groups to play in a round table format to select four best teams for final games.
The annual event, which is co-organized by Nhi Dong newspaper and Viettel Football Training Centre, offers a good chance for the young players to join a football festival and show their talents.
