(ĐN)- Dong Nai’s Chau Tien artist won a silver medal at the national competition for younger people involved in traditional arts that took place in Can Tho city from June 20-26.
On this occasion, the organizers also awarded seven gold and ten silver medals to others.
The event attracted the participation of over 100 artists from 16 professional troupes and theatres nationwide.
Dong Nai’s cai luong (reformed theatre) artists performed four extracts of famous plays such as “Ke si Thang Long” (Thang Long scholar), “To Dac Ky”, “Troi Nam” (Southern sky) and “Trang Hoa Mai” (White apricot blossom).
