(ĐN)- Group 4 of the qualifying round of the 2014 National Children and Teenager Football Championships – Yamaha Cup in Dong Nai opened early on May 26 at Bien Hoa stadium in Dong Nai.
The event attracted fifteen U13 and U11 football teams from Southern provinces.
Accordingly, Binh Duong, HCM city, Dong Thap and Bien Hoa city are taking part in the first round of the National Teenager’s event for the tickets of the final round which is scheduled to be organised in Ninh Binh in July.
Meanwhile, 11 children teams from Ben Tre, Long An, HCM city and Dong Nai are competing for the final round tickets of the National Children’s event in Can Tho city in July.
The annual championships, held by Children Newspaper under the sponsorship of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Limited Company, aim to create an useful and healthy playground for children during the summer holiday as well as detect and foster young football talent.
