Launching from early March, the competition has attracted nearly 5,000 photos capturing beautiful moments from photographers nationwide.
The jury board selected the best four works to award one first, one second, one third prizes and on prize that has the most voting.
Photographer Kieu Tan, a member of Dong Nai provincial Literature and Arts Association, was awarded the first prize for his work "Nghia tinh dong doi" (comrades’ affection).
As known, the contest is held by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association, the Military Telecom Corporation (Viettel), the Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Group (VNPT), and the Vietnam Electronic Sports Development company.
It aims to promote the landscapes, country, people, customs, and specialties of Vietnamese provinces and cities. Entries must feature the beauty of Vietnam’s nature, landscape and heritage, or the Vietnamese people, their traditions and customs.
The contest also offers an opportunity for amateur and professional photographers over the age of 15 to demonstrate their talents and exchange experiences.
Entries may be submitted to the website: khoanhkhacvietnam.vn. The contest runs from November 1, 2013 to April 30, 2014.
