Instead of having a two-day break for Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day (May 1) and returning work on Friday, civil servants will have a five-day break from Wednesday to Sunday.
The Ministry of Labour-Invalids and Social Affairs has made an announcement of the exchange for break days for national holidays, including Reunification Day, May Day, and National Independence Day.
Accordingly, for Reunification Day and May Day, civil servants will not have to work on Friday (May 2) but will work on Saturday (April 26). The holiday will start from April 30 to May 4.
For National Independence Day (September 2), civil servants will have four days off work, from August 30 to September 2, but they will have to work on Saturday (September 6).
