(ĐN)- Many book exhibitions took place at the libraries across Dong Nai in response to Vietnam Book Day (April 21). The day is meant to honour the value of books and cultivate a lasting culture of reading.
In the morning of April 21, Vinh Cuu district’s library in coordination with several publishing houses introduced hundreds of books featuring history, literature, medical and cultivation, etc to the public.
The same day in Xuan Loc district’s library, an exhibition was started showing precious collections, such as Dien Bien Phu victory and its memories, books about Unclo Ho and General Vo Nguyen Giap, the district’s renewal process as well as its people and land.
Long Khanh town’s library is also responding to Vietnam ’s first-ever Book Day with displays of books covering various topics.
Tan Phu and Thong Nhat districts’ labraries are exhibiting books about Dien Bien Phu victory and the country’s revolution, introducing local people to interesting books, helping them develop the habit of reading.
At Nguyen An Ninh primary school in Bien Hoa city, an English festival day with the theme of children with reading culture was co-organized by Department of Education and Training and Dai Truong Phat Education J.S Company.
