In the final match, Dong Nai women’s doubles Nguyen Thi Thuy-Vo Tran Ha Thuong beat their Bac Giang rivals 2-0 to dominate the women’s doubles’ category while Bac Giang won gold medal in women’s team competition.
The hosts Soc Trang snatched the gold medals in both the men’s doubles and men’s team events.
This year's championship attracted the participation of more than 60 players from seven provinces and cities across the country, battling for medals in four categories including men’s doubles, women’s doubles, men’s team and women’s team.
The annual tournament aims to select the outstanding athletes for the national team in preparation for upcoming regional and international competitions.
