Attending the festival were representatives of the Central and Provincial Committees for Ethnic Minority Affairs, Dong Nai Museum, Vinh Cuu district’s authorities and local Choro ethnic people

The Sayangva festival is one of the most important festivals of the Choro people. It is held annually with the aim of pay homage to Giang (Heaven) and the spirits, which protect the villagers and bless them with a bumper harvest, clement weather and a peaceful life.
The festival included various cultural activities such as making traditional Choro dishes to offer to the god of rice, drums and gongs performances, and folk games.
On this occasion, the Central Committees for Ethnic Minority Affairs presented 10 gifts to Choro ethnic households in Phu Ly commune.
