National best striker Le Cong Vinh of the host team missed a chance to score his 101th goal as he didn’d succeed in his penalty kick at the 83th minute.
Dong Nai's Nguyen Hai Anh scored the only goal right after that with a strong kick beating the Song Lam Nghe An's goalkeeper.
With their third victory this season, Dong Nai jumps to the 5th position in the table with 13 points.
