On day three, Vietnamese athletes won three titles in track-and-field, swimming and powerlifting events.
The nation's swimmers set seven new Games records, two of which were also Paralympic records.
Do Thanh Hai won the men's SB4 100m breaststroke event with a time of 1min 45.36sec, stepping on the top podium for the fourth time.
Vo Huynh Anh Khoa claimed his third gold in the men's S9 50m breaststroke event, timing 29.77 .
The other winners in the swimming events were Du Thi Lan (women's Sb6 100m breaststroke), Le Tien Dat (men's Sb6 100m breaststroke) and Trinh Thi Bich Nhu (women's Sb5 100m breaststroke).
In powerlifting, Chau Hoang Tuyet Loan broke her own Asian record with a lift of 102kg in the women's 55kg class.
The nation's powerlifting contingent has so far grabbed the four gold medals they had targeted before the Games, coach Nguyen Hong Phuc said.
Viet Nam have two powerlifters competing on the last day today, but they face strong rivals from Thailand, he said.
In the track-and-field events, Nguyen Thi Thuy triumphed in the women's F44 long jump with a leap of 3.36m, a new Games record.
Nguyen Thi Hai won the women's F57-58 discus event with a throw of 26.27m, while Nguyen Thi Mai added to the nation's gold tally by winning the women's F37 javelin event.
