The 9th International Food Festival entitled 'Taste of the World' 2013, showcasing dishes from countries around the world, kicked off at 23-9 Park in Ho Chi Minh City on December 5.

The annual festival aims to promote Vietnamese cuisine in particular and international specialities in general, as well as contribute to the advancement of Vietnamese tourism.
The festival features 120 booths, which introduce specialities from 60 restaurants and hotels representing 20 countries and territories across the world.
Guests of the festival will enjoy a range of activities, including the preparation and service of food in booths, a ‘Five-star Chef’ festival, competitions for ‘Sculpture of Mai, Lan, Cuc, Truc’, drinks mixing performances, along with sports activities and art performances,
The festival, co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, will last until December 8.
