The Ho Chi Minh City team came in first with five gold, three silver and three bronze medals while Agifish An Giang were runners-up with four gold, one silver and six bronze medals.
The team from Hanoi finished third with three gold, four silver and three bronze medals.
The tournament attracts 80 athletes from 11 cities and provinces, which was divided into four weight categories for men and two for women.
Bodybuilding has experienced rapid development in Vietnam, with local athletes winning top places at continental and world events.
Most recently, the Vietnamese team brought home one gold and two silver medals from the fifth World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships, which took place in Hungary from November 12-18.
