After the official 90 minutes the two side left the field with a goalless score, although the Koreans played with only 10 men after 67 minutes.
The results must be finalised with the penalty shootout in which the visitors missed two chances, as Vietnamese goalie Nguyen Manh successfully saved his net. While only captain Nguyen Van Quyet of Viet Nam failed.
The U23s will play Becamex BInh Duong in the final tomorrow.
