(ĐN)- The international seminar entitled "The role of cultural heritages in education and peace-building" will be organized in Dong Nai from November 24-28.

30 international along with 50 Vietnamese scientists and researchers in the fields of archaeology, culture, ethnography; peace, human rights will attend the event.
They will discuss on defining culture heritage from people’s own lived realities, methods for increasing awareness in local communities of the value of culture heritage, culture heritage as part of identity.
The seminar, which will be jointly held by Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS), Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee and Asian Resource Foundation(ARF), aims to raise the public awareness of the role of cultural heritages and accept conflicts to protect and increase the value of cultural heritages and promote cultural heritages as a resource for peace-making and peace-building.
Presently, the province is home to nearly 50 national and provincial heritages that need protection and development.
